Overtone Singing and Mystical Soundscapes
As part of the event Klein? Kunst! Bewegt, overtone singer Wolfgang Saus will perform under the theme “The Voice is the Breath of the Soul – A Path to Infinity” at St. Johann Sigmaringen.
Instruments that tell stories and a voice exploring sound down to its finest overtones: Wolfgang Saus takes the audience into a world beyond the audible. The powerful bronze gong with its shimmering sound palette, the breathing shruti box, the gently vibrating tampura, and the archaic Jew’s harps from Kazakhstan and Estonia – they all merge with the voice into a cosmic concert.
Overtones are the origin of all music – sounds without beginning or end. They blur time and space, inviting listeners to hear, marvel, and meditate. At the heart lies the pure sound: a deep dive into resonances that touch body and soul.
Experience a concert that bridges the old and the new, creating a connection between worlds – both acoustically and emotionally.
Following the concert, a free workshop with the artist will be offered.*
