Overtone Singing and Mystical Soundscapes<\/h2>\n

As part of the event Klein? Kunst! Bewegt<\/a>, overtone singer Wolfgang Saus will perform under the theme “The Voice is the Breath of the Soul \u2013 A Path to Infinity” at St. Johann Sigmaringen.<\/p>\n

Instruments that tell stories and a voice exploring sound down to its finest overtones: Wolfgang Saus takes the audience into a world beyond the audible. The powerful bronze gong with its shimmering sound palette, the breathing shruti box, the gently vibrating tampura, and the archaic Jew\u2019s harps from Kazakhstan and Estonia \u2013 they all merge with the voice into a cosmic concert.<\/p>\n

Overtones are the origin of all music \u2013 sounds without beginning or end. They blur time and space, inviting listeners to hear, marvel, and meditate. At the heart lies the pure sound: a deep dive into resonances that touch body and soul.<\/p>\n

Experience a concert<\/strong> that bridges the old and the new, creating a connection between worlds \u2013 both acoustically and emotionally.<\/p>\n

Following the concert, a free workshop<\/strong> with the artist will be offered.*<\/p>\n

Wolfgang Saus<\/strong> is a highly skilled freelance musician and vocal resonance researcher. With his background as a classical singer and a graduate scientist, he possesses a unique ability to convey the fascination of vocal sound. A recipient of the Innovation Award of the Kl\u00fch Foundation, the Perkin Medal of the Society of Dyers and Colourists, and inventor of several chemical patents, he has a rich stage career: he performed as a soloist in opera productions and as a member of professional choirs. For three decades, he has dedicated himself full-time to the study of overtones and vocal resonances.<\/p>\n

Saus has developed groundbreaking concepts in choral and vocal phonetics and is the initiator and co-developer of the renowned sound analysis software Overtone Analyzer\/VoceVistaVideo. Furthermore, he is an author, founder of the European Overtone Choir, and a sought-after educator who shares his expertise with professional choirs, conductors, opera singing classes, and overtone enthusiasts worldwide.<\/p>\n
