Dabei haben sich neben der langen asiatischen Tradition auch im Westen Formen von Obertongesang entwickelt. Als kompositorisches Mittel fand es bereits vor \u00fcber 50 Jahren Eingang in die zeitgen\u00f6ssische Musik und fristet dort bislang ein Nischendasein. Dabei sind die klanglichen M\u00f6glichkeiten des Obertongesangs enorm.
