Overtone singing is the art of singing 2 notes simultaneously \u2013 an awesome effect that never ceases to amaze people. But it is much more than just an effect. The overtones are the original music of the universe, a sequence of tones much older than mankind. The overtones reflect the primordial law of harmonic vibration, which was already admired by the Pythagoreans. This archetypal music is built into our larynx. We only need to sound with the most original means in order to connect with this world harmony.<\/p>\n
The discovery of resonance in one\u2019s own body satisfies a deep longing and creates an inexplicable familiarity with the strange sounds. The ears open and suddenly the world is full of new sounds. The latest scientific findings even show that the overtones change brain activity and activate new areas. It is really an adventure to get involved in the fascination of one\u2019s own sounds.<\/p>\n
The workshop is divided into two modules: solid basics of overtone techniques and methods to sing the overtones clearer and louder. It is recommended to book both modules together in order to be able to produce clear and beautiful overtones with clean and sound technique. However, if you just want to get a taste, you can also book module 1 separately. If you already have overtone singing experience, you might wish to book module 2 alone.<\/p>\n
