Vocal phonetics is a new method of singing pedagogy with which singing students optimize their resonances within the shortest possible time without having to change their singing technique. Resonance is a prerequisite for relaxed singing.<\/p>\n

Vocal phonetics is the “missing link” between vocal acoustics and phonetics. It uses the latest scientific findings on vowel formants and enables an extremely precise adjustment of the vocal tract to different pitches.<\/p>\n

Unlike other methods, it does not rely on the subjective perception of vowels, but uses the activation of the so-called overtone hearing in the right auditory cortex.<\/p>\n

At the conference of the Latvian Association of Vocal Teachers and the European Voice Teachers Association in Latvia, EVTA Latvia, I am invited as a lecturer to introduce the vocal phonetics method.<\/p>\n
