Es wurde vor 1450 geschrieben. Der \u00e4lteste Beleg der Melodie findet sich im Andernacher Gesangsbuch, K\u00f6ln 1608. Eine rhythmische Seltenheit in alten Kirchenliedern ist der Wechsel von einem 6\/4-Takt zu einem 4\/4-Takt in der Mitte des Liedes. Der dorische Teil des ersten Liedteils endet auf der kleinen Terz, w\u00e4hrend der zweite Teil sich von dem neuen Grundton nach Lydisch wendet und am Ende wieder zum dorischen Finalis findet. Tonarten mit kleiner Terz machen beim Obertongesang Grundtonwechsel unumg\u00e4nglich, weil die nat\u00fcrliche Obertonreihe in Dur gestimmt ist. It was written before 1450. The oldest record of the melody is found in the Andernacher Gesangsbuch, Cologne 1608.<\/p>\n<p>A rhythmic rarity in old hymns is the change from a 6\/4 to a 4\/4 meter in the middle of the song. The Dorian part of the first part of the song ends on the minor third, while the second part turns to Lydian from the new root and returns to the Dorian finalis at the end.<\/p>\n<p>Keys with minor thirds make fundamental changes unavoidable in overtone singing, because the natural overtone series is tuned to major.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to sing the song, you can download the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oberton.org\/en\/portfolio-item\/es-kommt-ein-schiff-geladen\/\">free sheet music here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The recording is a spontaneous improvisation by pianist Michael Reimann, who later orchestrated his piano part, and overtone singer Wolfgang Saus.
