I have never heard a single recording of overtone singing by Tibetan monks. However, the 10th harmonic is emphasized remarkably often. According to my own definition, this would then count as overtone singing, but by no means as polyphonic singing. This would require at least one melody. And this is contained neither in the fundamental nor in the overtones.<\/p>\n<p>Do any of you know genuine overtone singing from Tibet?
